Today I would like to talk about 5 skin types and about the existence of a single product capable of helping us take care of all of them.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>

I know. My title may be a bit dramatic, but let’s take it one step at a time.<\/p>

Depending on where you look and who you ask, there are different skin types. Sometimes there are four, while others can say that there are as many as seven. Today I’m going to focus on five of them, and also on a single product you can use to take care of all of them.<\/p>

Before starting, you should know the importance of finding out your skin type, as this will help you avoid unpleasant situations in the future, and will also help you to make a conscious choice about how to care for it and keep it healthy. It\u2019s not the same to have one or the other; what works for this<\/em> won\u2019t work for that<\/em>. It\u2019s a process of self-knowledge and self-care that we should all put into practice. Shall we begin?<\/p>

Believe it or not, there is such a thing as “normal skin”. A skin type that has a regular texture and doesn’t need any very particular care to stay healthy, unlike our second skin type: sensitive skin. For people with this type of skin, it\u2019s easier to develop lesions or allergies, as well as infections, because it\u2019s a much more fragile and thinner “organ”. Sensitive skin is a skin that dries out more easily and, therefore, it\u2019s very important to keep it moisturized.<\/p>

Our third skin type is oily skin, which is kept moisturized and offers an appearance that allows pores to be seen better than in other skin types. This occurs when the body’s sebaceous glands are in constant overproduction. This type of skin is highly prone to the appearance of acne.<\/p>

We can also talk about dry skin, which, for some people, rather than being a passing condition, becomes an issue they must deal with for their entire lives. It\u2019s important for people with dry skin, as well as those with sensitive skin, to keep this outer layer moisturized, as dryness can crack it and allow microorganisms to enter. This skin is also prone to bleeding, flaking and irritation.<\/p>

Finally, we have combination skin, which combines both oily and dry skin, as the glands responsible for the production of different substances in our body are not evenly distributed. While some areas produce more oil, others constantly lose moisture.<\/p>

The existence of different skin types means that there are specialized products to deal with each of them: this is natural, and even desirable. However, there are also many other products that are quite suitable for everyone.
