Gucci Celebrates 100 Years<\/h2>
Alessandro Michele presented his collection \u201cAria,\u201d full of references to Gucci\u2019s past, including an unforgettable homage to Tom Ford, with a red velvet suit at the beginning of the film, and a nod to the equestrian-style accessories that are so central to the brand\u2019s DNA.  But, what really got my attention were the silhouettes, patterns, and the logo the brand borrowed from Balenciaga.<\/p>
\"Fashion<\/figure>
Yes, you read that right. Gucci launched a collection with Balenciaga-esque elements. This wasn\u2019t a collab but something that Michele did as a way of borrowing some of Demna Gvasalia\u2019s creativity to expand the visual language of Gucci. The result was a great success, and these pieces are sure to become part of fashion history, not to mention best-sellers.<\/p>
A Spectrum of Scents, Courtesy of Loewe<\/h2>
Under the creative direction of Jonathan Anderson, this Spanish brand has become an example for the fashion industry. Loewe has made an effort to break the mold in different ways, and this can be seen in their latest shows. For Spring 20201, they gave us \u201cShow-on-the-Wall,\u201d a portfolio of posters showing each of the collection\u2019s looks alongside scissors and paintbrushes. For Fall 2021, their collection was presented as a newspaper entitled \u201cA Show in the News,\u201d with looks photographed by Fumiko Imano.<\/p>
\"Fashion<\/figure>
This week we got to see Loewe\u2019s latest chapter, this time from their world of scents. The brand\u2019s whole line of fragrances has been reintroduced with new packaging inspired by the Loewe 001 bottle, that of the first fragrance the English designer did for the brand. The bottle is a block of glass with a halo-shaped, gold-toned cap, through which the liquid passes as it\u2019s diffused into a fragrant spray. There are 9 different families of scents in this universe: Water, Air, Aura, Essence, Solo, Solo Ella, 7, and Pour Homme. Each has different aromatic notes that capture the creative spirit, freedom, and uniqueness of Loewe.<\/p>
The Second Season of the Series Luis Miguel<\/em><\/h2>
The famous Mexican singer is back in the highly-anticipated second season of this Netflix biopic. The first season came out 3 years ago and was an instant hit. Young and older generations alike became obsessed with the captivating story told across each episode, and everyone was glued to their TVs (not to mention singing along at the top of their lungs).<\/p>
\"Fashion<\/figure>
The first episodes are already available on the platform, but this series is worth watching for the fashion alone: it\u2019s a portrait of some of the best styles from the 90s. So, add the second season to your watch list whether or not you\u2019re a fan of Luis Miguel. If the still of Diego Boneta wearing a silk baroque-print Versace shirt doesn\u2019t scream \u201cThe 90s,\u201d I don\u2019t know what does.<\/p>
Fendi Reinterprets High Fashion<\/h2>
Kim Jones debuted his Spring 2021 Haute Couture collection for Fendi in a series of pieces inspired by Virginia Woolf’s acclaimed novel Orlando<\/em>. The designer gave us a show filled with androgynous silhouettes wrapped in sumptuous and romantic fabrics. His first collection was a resounding success, acclaimed by both critics and industry fans. This new capsule collection from the brand transforms transforms Haute Couture elements into ready-to-wear garments.<\/p>

This limited-edition capsule collection contains the first clothing pieces, accessories, bags, and shoes from the Kim Jones era to be available in Fendi boutiques. We see cotton shirts, sculptural silk dresses, and tailored wool suits. Iconic brand bags, such as the Baguette and Peekaboo, are reinterpreted and presented alongside ballerinas with the Karligraphy monogram. The garments in this collection strike a balance between the traditional codes of masculinity and femininity.<\/p>
Roma, a Scent from Valentino<\/h2>
The culture, seductiveness, and enigmatic elegance of this ancient city are encapsulated in the new Valentino Beauty fragrance “Born in Roma.” A trio of jasmine flowers, Bergamot and Bourbon Vanilla come together in a scent that represents the grandeur and richness of Italian Haute Couture. The bottle is a tribute to the famous Valentino Stud and a nod to classic Roman architecture.<\/p>

Without a doubt, this fragrance combines the irreverent modernism of Italian urbanity with the opulence of the Valentino world. “Fashion is about the moment; beauty is about eternity,” says Pierpaolo Piccioli. The Goodtime Hotel: A New Hot-Spot<\/h2>
Since last October, we\u2019ve all been excitedly waiting for this new hotel. The dynamic duo David Grutman and Pharrell Williams that gave us Swan restaurant is back with The Goodtime Hotel, which is sure to become a hotspot for international jet setters visiting Miami.<\/p>

Designed by Ken Fulk, this hotel located at 601 Washington Avenue in Miami Beach is a paradise in which the only goal is to have a good time. Common areas for recreation, meditation, and dining make this place a must for locals and tourists.<\/p>

This is not the first time that Apple’s tech has been used in French luxury brand Herm\u00e8s\u2019 pieces. Just recall the leather Herm\u00e8s Apple Watch, the perfect high-tech option for those who don\u2019t want to compromise on style. This month these two titans came together again to give us the Apple AirTag Herm\u00e8s.<\/p>
