Sin embargo el problema va m\u00e1s hacia el fondo.&nbsp;<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote><p>Se habl\u00f3 mucho del tema cuando Instagram dijo que quitar\u00eda la opci\u00f3n de dar likes en nuestros posts en apoyo a evitar compararnos y herir susceptibilidades de los usuarios. Por naturaleza, las redes sociales activan el centro de recompensa inmediata del cerebro al liberar dopamina, una &#8220;sustancia qu\u00edmica para sentirse bien&#8221; vinculada a actividades placenteras como el sexo o la comida. Lo mismo pasa con las redes sociales: &#8220;si posteo esta foto, \u00bfcu\u00e1ntos likes tendr\u00e9?\u00bfQui\u00e9n me comentar\u00e1?&#8221; El resultado desconocido y la posibilidad de una recompensa deseado es lo que nos mantiene pegados a las redes digitales. Un aumentar la autoestima y acercarnos a un sentido de pertenencia en nuestros c\u00edrculos sociales son las dos causas principales para estar constantemente checando las plataformas digitales.<\/p><p><strong>El FOM<\/strong>O (fear of missing out), tambi\u00e9n juega un papel relevante. Si todos los dem\u00e1s est\u00e1n usando redes sociales, y nosotros no entramos en esa din\u00e1mica, existe la preocupaci\u00f3n real de que nos estamos perdiendo chistes, temas de actualidad, y hasta las conexiones con nuestros amigos. Las experiencias perdidas pueden generar ansiedad y depresi\u00f3n. El uso de las redes sociales puede afectar la salud f\u00edsica de los usuarios de manera a\u00fan m\u00e1s directa. Los investigadores han llegado a la conclusi\u00f3n que la conexi\u00f3n entre la mente y el intestino puede convertir la ansiedad y la depresi\u00f3n en n\u00e1useas, dolores de cabeza, tensi\u00f3n muscular y temblores.<\/p><p>Entre m\u00e1s j\u00f3venes comenzamos a usar las redes sociales, mayor impacto tendr\u00e1n en la salud mental. Esto, sobre todo, para las mujeres. Mientras que los chicos tienden a expresar agresi\u00f3n de manera f\u00edsica, las chicas lo hacen de manera relacional al excluir a los dem\u00e1s y al realizar comentarios hirientes. Cuando se aplican filtros en el mundo digital, a los adolescentes les puede resultar dif\u00edcil saber qu\u00e9 es real y qu\u00e9 no, lo que provoca un momento dif\u00edcil para ellos, tanto f\u00edsica como emocionalmente.&nbsp;Los adultos tambi\u00e9n son vulnerables. En los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os, los cirujanos pl\u00e1sticos han visto un aumento en las solicitudes de pacientes que quieren parecerse a sus fotos filtradas de Snapchat e Instagram. Estas apps que&nbsp; brindan a los usuarios airbrushing, blanqueamiento dental e infinidad de filtros est\u00e9ticos son s\u00faper f\u00e1ciles de encontrar y de usar. Podemos monitorear nuestro comportamiento para ver c\u00f3mo nos afecta su uso y c\u00f3mo reaccionar como resultado. Un buen ejercicio es calificar nuestras emociones en una escala de 0 a 10, siendo 10 la m\u00e1s intensa, antes y despu\u00e9s de usar las redes sociales a la misma hora todos los d\u00edas durante una semana. Si uno nota que se siente menos feliz despu\u00e9s de usarlas, entonces hay que considerar cambiar la forma en que se emplean, ya sea usarlas por menos tiempo y cambiarlas por otras actividades que disfrutemos.
