The City of Love is one of the most beautiful places in the world. Paris is one of the most important cultural centers on the planet. Its streets are full of history; every corner of the city is a testament to some of the most influential thinkers, writers and poets of all time, and it has been the birthplace of artistic movements and legendary fashion. It\u2019s no wonder that it\u2019s one of the world\u2019s most visited destinations. In 2018 alone, more than 40 million tourists traveled to the French capital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The streets of Paris take your breath away; it\u2019s a unique sensation. Its 19th century architecture houses some of the world\u2019s best museums, fashion boutiques, and restaurants. And, this is no surprise: French cuisine is exquisite. Classic ingredients, elegance, and phenomenal recipes come together to make this country a leader when it comes to flavor, technique and presentation. But, not only do we find delicious French cuisine in Paris; we also find a variety of excellent restaurants with international flavors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a city where excellence is the status quo and there are infinite restaurants to choose from, how can you decide? To make this almost impossible task a bit easier for you, I\u2019ll share a brief list of some of my favorite restaurants in the City of Lights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mun<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This restaurant is one of the coolest and most chic places in the city. Located on the terrace of the Chanel headquarters, it has impressive views of the Eiffel Tower to the Sacr\u00e9 C\u0153ur Basilica. You\u2019ll enjoy a delicious dinner of Pan-Asian flavors while taking in all the Parisian allure around you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What dish is a must? The salmon tartar with wasabi and panko mayonnaise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Location: 52 Av. Des Champs-\u00c9lys\u00e9es, 75008 Paris<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Girafe<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This restaurant\u2019s delicious French cuisine includes some of the best dishes I\u2019ve ever had. I love the service and the food is excellent. Without a doubt, this place is an adventure for your senses, and it starts with your taste buds. I recommend going at night so that you can also enjoy the view of the Eiffel Tower while having a glass of wine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What dish is a must? The grilled blue lobster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This restaurant located inside the Opera Garnier is beautiful; its decoration is simply sensational: marble tables, velvet chairs, and patterned rugs convey all the beauty of Paris. The kitchen serves up the perfect balance of modern and classic cuisine made with fresh, seasonal products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What dish is a must? The artichoke carpaccio<\/em> with vinaigrette <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Location: 1 Pl. Jacques Rouch\u00e9, 75009 Paris<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Loulou<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This restaurant can be found inside the Musee des Arts Decoratifs\u2014it\u2019s a place where each dish is fantastic and the decoration is deliciously perfect. A black-and-white color palette gives off modern sophistication in this space created by interior designer Joseph Dirand. This is a mandatory stop for anyone visiting Paris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What dish is a must? The sea bass fillet with by olives, capers and artichokes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sinner<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Chef Adam Benthala has created a menu flavors that reflect his experiences and travels around the world. With dishes influenced by places like North Africa and South America, the food at this restaurant is sure to surprise your palate. The dimly lit atmosphere is perfect for the start of an unforgettable night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What dish is a must? Lamb chops with chimichurri sauce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mediterranean influences come to life in each of the dishes on the menu at this restaurant\u2014a joyful combination of flavors that will put a smile on your face. The place invites us to enjoy food in a relaxed and unpretentious way that allows flavors to stand out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What dish is a must? Risotto Ptitim Salama<\/em> with tomato and fennel butter, artichokes and Egyptian dua<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A favorite among the Parisian jet-set crowd, where the idea is to sit outside and see and be seen\u2014oh, and eat, of course. Surely you\u2019ve heard of or seen this place in a movie or on the Instagram account of an influencer. But beyond all the fanfare, the food is actually very good. So, it\u2019s an excellent spot to enjoy an afternoon in the City of Lights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What dish is a must? Burrata<\/em> with basil and tomatoes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Location: 41 Av. Montaigne, 75008 Paris<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le Stresa<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A little piece of Italy in the center of Paris, this restaurant is one of the most famous in the city and attracts an exclusive clientele. Its traditional Italian cuisine makes it the perfect space to enjoy a big meal, accompanied by one (or more) glasses of wine. Without a doubt this is one of the best Italian restaurants outside of Italy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What dish is a must? Spaghetti carbonara.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is one of those spots that Parisians would prefer to keep secret. This cozy little place is home to the best souffles, both salty and sweet, in the world. This paradise is the perfect place to relax after an afternoon of shopping at Le Bon March\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What dish is a must? Dark chocolate souffle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This famous Korean street food franchise has a location in the Quartier Asiatique<\/em> of Paris. It serves up all the delicious flavors of Korean food in a casual, relaxed environment. It\u2019s great if you are looking for some excellent comfort food in an informal setting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What dish is a must? Noodles with shrimp and spicy chojang sauce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each of these restaurants manages to captivate us through its impressive spaces, elegant decoration, and delicious dishes. Any of the restaurants on this list is a safe bet for a meal in Paris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Choosing only one favorite restaurant in the City of Lights is an impossible task. Every time I go, I find a new place or fall back in love with one that I\u2019d forgotten. I think that food is the best way to enjoy a city and really get to know it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
