No closet is complete without a great collection of sneakers that go with the everyday looks that we’re seeing everywhere—from social media to the streets.
As you well know, I am a fan of a good pair of shoes, but my closet would not be complete without some sneakers that keep up with my busy schedule (without sacrificing style). Of course I love head-turning heels and thigh-high boots, but sneakers are a staple that never fails, thanks to their comfort, versatility and ease of pairing.
Some of my favorite styles over the last few seasons are still going strong, but there are other silhouettes that feel particularly fresh this spring. One of the trends in right now is retro: either from the 90s or the 70s. Another great trend is the “dad sneakers” but with a platform that adds a few extra inches (and style points) to any look—whether a casual jeans outfit or a cocktail dress.
Another model that’s a must are sporty sneakers, but worn outside of the gym. They look amazing when contrasted with more stylish, polished clothes and add a cool air to the outfit. Another type of sneaker every wardrobe must have are classic white shoes that go well with everything and on any occasion, even at the office. Get a good pair and take care of them. You won’t regret it!
