Brands are taking classic styles and giving them a twist to keep them fresh.

For the season of hot days ahead, I have been looking for pieces that can be worn both day and night and that, in addition to being versatile, add something to my wardrobe. With sustainability in mind, I’m hoping that my garments last much longer, so I tend towards investing in items that I will wear for a long time and in different seasons. Brands are taking classic styles and giving them a twist to keep them fresh. For example, the classic little black dress is getting reinvented with feathers and crystals for a cocktail party or, combined with combat boots, to a rock concert. Another good example are the Bottega Venta pumps—not only do they have a platform that gives you several inches of height, but they are also lined with python-effect leather that makes them stylish and super pairable.

The tops in my shopping cart are another example of basica reinvented, from Rosie Assoulin’s fresh look witb a bow that ties at the back, to Ganni’s crop top with 3D embroidered details that gives us the sensation of a clouds. Then, there’s the Saint Laurent denim bodysuit, which reminds me of the 90s supermodel era. Finally, The Row coat in black leather is proof of the pieces that will always be in our closets: timeless, from a great brand and made from incomparable materials. Without a doubt, these are garments that will never go out of style.
