I don’t know how early or late to the party I am, but recently the newest social media Clubhouse has come into my radar. And I am obsessed!

This new social media is invite-only, so in order to get in you must know a member. Of course, this makes it much more appealing on an era where exclusivity is the most coveted value. I am pretty sure that with the passing of time and increasing popularity it will go public soon, but for now I will let you in on the secret behind all the hype.

But you may be wondering, what is all the fuzz behind Clubhouse? All it is like listening to a live podcast, you will be able to listen to conversations regarding all topics, from fashion to tech, music and art or sports, among others. The cherry on top is that you may be able to find a celebrity or two in the conversation! I have listened to Jared Leto, Tiffany Haddish and recently I have heard that even Elon Musk, the richest man on earth, has joined the club.

One of the things I loved was that the whole idea of the conversations is fleeting, since the social media do not record any chat. It just feels like a more real social media where the idea of perfection has been lifted up when you do not depend on a photo or are just looking for likes. It is just raw conversation, no filters or picture perfect, which makes it so real.

Guess that the more we move into the digital world the more we cherish and look for a real connection, and the fact that Clubhouse is bringing strangers together in the moment the world is farther apart has made it the place to be.

Created in March 2020 this social media is quickly gathering a cult follower status and let me tell you once you are in you will be hooked. Time will fly while you listen to different conversations or while you talk about a topic you are passionate.
