Where Sira Eats in Paris: My Go-To Restaurants

Paris has too many “pretty” restaurants. But not all of them are places you actually want to return to. Over time, I realized my favorites aren’t necessarily the newest or the most viral. They’re the ones that always work. The ones with good lighting, the right energy, and food you actually crave again. This isn’t a guide. It’s my list.

Ferdi

Small, chaotic, and perfect. Ferdi is the kind of place where you’re sitting way too close to everyone else, tables are tiny, and somehow… you wouldn’t change a thing. The food is indulgent in the best way comfort food done right, with zero pretension. You come here hungry, a little reckless, ready to order everything. It’s more of a night spot, more fun, more “let’s just see what happens.” There’s always energy, always noise, always a vibe.

Sushi Park

If you know, you know. Sushi Park has that quiet confidence that doesn’t need validation. This isn’t where you go for photos it’s where you go when you want to eat well, without distractions. The sushi is clean, precise, no unnecessary creativity. It feels very L.A., but adapted to Paris. More intimate, more controlled. Perfect for low-key dinners where the conversation matters just as much as the food.

La Renommée

Effortless Paris. La Renommée is one of those places you understand the second you sit down. Terrace, perfectly set tables, people watching people. Everything moves slower, as it should in Paris. The food is classic French, straightforward, no overthinking. You come here for a long lunch that quietly turns into an entire afternoon.

Caviar Kaspia

Iconic. Period. Yes, it’s touristy. Yes, it’s expensive. And yes, it’s worth it. Some places go beyond all that and Kaspia is one of them. The famous baked potato with caviar is simple, but perfectly executed. The whole place feels like it’s always been exactly this way. It’s more tradition than trend, and that’s exactly why it still works.

Hôtel Costes Restaurant

It never misses. Costes isn’t just a restaurant it’s an atmosphere. Low lighting, deep reds, music, interesting people. It feels like you’ve walked into a scene. The food is almost secondary and that’s fine because you’re here for the mood. Perfect for dinners that stretch or drinks that turn into the whole night.

7 Rue de Castiglione, 75001 Paris, Francia

Le Bar des Prés

Sushi, but make it Paris. Le Bar des Prés does something difficult: it feels sophisticated without being stiff. The space is elegant, but relaxed. The menu blends Japanese precision with a subtle French touch. It’s ideal when you want something polished, but not formal. Everything feels considered from the plating to the overall energy.

25 Rue du Dragon, 75006 Paris, France

Le Voltaire

Very Paris. Very classic. Very right. Le Voltaire doesn’t try to reinvent anything and that’s exactly the point. It’s effortless, discreet, almost quiet. Small tables, soft lighting, impeccable service. The kind of place where time slows down. You go when you want something more intimate, more real. Not to see or be seen but to actually enjoy Paris.

27 Quai Voltaire, 75007 Paris, France

My favorite restaurants in Paris aren’t trends. They’re habits. They’re the places I go back to without overthinking. The ones I know will be right, every single time. Because in the end, that’s what really defines a favorite.
