There is something I always have on hand, a product that is my best ally to take care of my skin: a cleanser. Let me tell you why it’s so important and why you should love it.
I know we don’t usually stop to think about this, but, when we leave the house (and even when we are inside it), we expose facial skin to different factors that, during the long hours we spend between business meetings, meals with friends, outings with our partner or walks with the family, simply make it dirty —it’s a bummer, I know, but it’s something we can’t avoid. Something similar happens, for example, with makeup, which covers our pores and, although it makes us enhance our natural beauty, it continues to be an external element that must be treated with the care and respect it deserves once it has fulfilled its function.

Every beauty routine (and even a standard care of our body) includes a thorough cleansing that helps us keep our skin in its optimal state: glowing, hydrated, healthy and, of course, beautiful. Taking care of this, the “largest organ” of our anatomy, is a task to be taken very, very seriously, which is why we must acquire specific products for such an important mission.
The skin on the face is particularly thin and, consequently, delicate, so not all the items on sale are suitable for treating it. Perhaps it has ever happened to you that, out of habit or lack of care, you wash your face with the soap you have at hand, the one you use for the rest of the body: generally, after cleansing with this one, our skin is left dry, sometimes also irritated, which is a sign that we are not doing the right thing! Your body is pretty smart, listen to it.

Products designed for our face are made with the specific needs of our first line of defense against sweat, dirt and environmental bacteria, elements to which we are exposed all the time. For example, one of my allies for this, perhaps the second most important way to take care of our skin (here you can learn about the first), is Spa Technologies’ Revitalizing Sea Cleanse.
Developed in 1989, this facial cleanser has gone through more than 30 years of testing and refinement, culminating in an algae-based product that is ideal for hypersensitive skin, which helps the production of natural oils (without drying out our skin, something super important), deeply cleanses our pores and, of course, removes impurities while protecting the skin barrier and nourishes with antioxidants, leaving us feeling fresh and looking radiant with the scent of lavender, mint, rosemary and juniper.
Using the Sea Cleanse is quite simple: all you have to do is wet your skin and massage it with the product for 60 seconds, remove with warm water and repeat this process both mornings and evenings. I know it goes without saying, but just in case: remember to keep the cleanse away from your eyes.
