There are certain garments that are essential to any wardrobe, but sometimes you have to reinterpret them and give them a twist.  Who said basics have to be boring?

There are certain pieces of clothing that are basics for any wardrobe—for example, a white shirt, some jeans, a good leather jacket, a classic black dress, and a good knit sweater. Every woman should have these types of pieces in her wardrobe since they will help her to look spectacular in any situation.  But sometimes we need to give these garments a twist to take them from classic to impressive.

This week, I filled my shopping bag with classic—but extra—garments!  A timeless Little Black Dress is transformed into an edgy piece thanks to scalloped trim at the neckline and hem.  The traditional denim piece is transformed into a bustier with gold hardware and flared pants.  Knitwear gets filled with embroidered crystals to become sparkling statement pieces.  Dare to give your wardrobe a boost by including versatile pieces that adapt to any style but will make you shine.
