Last weekend, I decided to spend time with my family at a Walt Disney World Resort for the weekend. Two days full of fun, excitement, and magic!

Dear diary:

Last weekend was one that I will remember forever. My family and I decided to enjoy a few days at a Walt Disney World Resort. I must say that I really enjoyed the experience. It’s not the first time we’ve gone, but I love going whenever we can. As the little ones grow, we enjoy the trip in a different way each time. The past Friday and Saturday were magical!

On the first day we decided to visit Epcot. The first time you see the Spaceship Earth sphere, whether you’re 10 or 50 years old, it’s very exciting. This is one of my favorite parks. I love the World Showcase since you can experience different cultures in one place through gastronomy and traditions. One of the attractions that I liked the most was Frozen Ever After, a musical ride the relives the moment in which Elsa saves Princess Anna. The ride immerses you in the Disney universe and you experience the story as if you were part of it, not as a mere spectator. Roberta and I loved this ride. Then, we went to Disney’s Hollywood Studios to take a trip to a faraway galaxy. We went directly to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Here both the young and old members of my family were impressed by the realism and how the universe of Star Wars came to life. Max and Lorenzo were happy. For a moment we forgot that we weren’t really on the planet Batuu.

The second day we woke up and received a surprise visit from Minnie Mouse and Goofy. There’s no better way to start the day than with a smile. We started our day very early and went straight to Disney’s Animal Kingdom. This park is impressive. It is not only a place to have fun but also learn the importance of conserving flora and fauna. I was dazzled by the Pandora -The World of Avatar section. The Na’vi River Journey manages to transport you to the surreal world of Avatar. Finally, we made a very important stop at Magic Kingdom. This is a park that brings out my inner Disney Princess. I love everything about this place, and I feel like it’s the happiest place in the world. Walking down Main Street, Cinderella’s Castle, the Mickey-shaped balloons (this time Halloween-themed )…it’s all spectacular. The boutiques, restaurants, and venues are otherworldly.

Going to Disney is never an easy task, whether you have 2 children or 5. It’s always a tiring journey and you are going to walk for hours and stand in line for everything–from ice cream to a ride. That is why it is crucial to choose a look that’s all about comfort. Both days, my outfit was a variation of the same look. On Friday, I got in touch with girly side with a knee-length, V-neck, daisy print sun dress from Saint Laurent, which I combined with some Air Jordan 1 sneakers from Nike, a quilted leather backpack with gold hardware, and a baseball cap in black, both from Chanel. On the second day, I wore a similar outfit, but with a sportier vibe. I paired a burgundy sweatshirt from Sporty & Rich with nude Saint Laurent cycling shorts, a white Balenciaga logo cap and white Valentino sneakers. I finished the look

off with a classic canvas monogram Palm Springs backpack from Louis Vuitton. Both looks combined my fashion sense with the comfort you need whenever you go to Disney.

The truth is that I love going to Disney, and while the ones who have the most fun in the family are the kids, I still have an incredible time. I love seeing Mickey and the gang come to life, and the rides really do transport you to other worlds. The shows always surprise me, too. Without a doubt, this was fun weekend, one that filled my heart with happiness…and I can’t stop smiling as I remember every moment.
